Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding an instrument hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to take up music as a passion rather as a career. She started writing lyrics of her own. After her mother said that the songs she wrote might not gain fame for her however, but to encourage people to see the importance of their work and influence in this world, she started performing them publicly. Piano was her first instrument, at six. She started making music at the age of nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she revealed her plans to her parents. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. Aurora claims she loves composing songs. Music to her is the most effective way to feel anything.
